British filmmaker Gareth Edwards first gained widespread recognition for Monsters (2010), which he wrote, directed, was cinematographer, and amazingly also visual effects artist. He went on to direct Godzilla and fan favorite Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Now, he sits down to discuss his latest film The Creator – which he wrote and directed – set against the backdrop of a war between humans and robots with artificial intelligence.
