Wonka is a musical fantasy film directed by Paul King, who co-wrote the screenplay with Simon Farnaby. It serves as a spiritual prequel to the Paramount Pictures 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory which was based on the 1964 novel “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl.
Wonka will be released in theaters starting December 15th – just in time for the holidays!
Along with Timothée Chalamet, Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant, and Sally Hawkins also star. Wonka is directed by Paul King.
