Fans of Where Winds Meet have plenty to look forward to as Everstone Studio celebrates the game’s half anniversary with a massive content roadmap. The biggest reveal is the upcoming Imperial Palace expansion, arriving in late May and introducing a sprawling royal district filled with political intrigue, hidden conspiracies, and more than 3,000 NPCs.

The new expansion continues the Jianghu storyline after the Hexi chapter and opens a massive one million square meter palace area comparable in size to Kaifeng. Players will explore forbidden royal grounds, interact with powerful factions, and uncover secrets tied to the imperial family.

Everstone Studio also announced several major gameplay additions planned throughout the summer. A new Homesteads system will allow players to build personal sanctuaries, farm resources, and enjoy a peaceful martial arts lifestyle in Qinghe. The upcoming Companion system introduces furry allies whose personalities and dialogue evolve over time based on player adventures.

Combat fans can also expect the long awaited Gauntlets weapon class, promising brutal hand to hand martial arts action with a unique fighting style. Additional cooperative PVE content and dangerous ancient tomb exploration modes are also arriving in June.

To celebrate the milestone, players can claim three premium outfits for free during the event. A limited edition Panda cosmetic launches May 19 for 60 Echo Beads, remaining available until June 17.
