A new story trailer for Winter Survival, the chilling, story-driven survival game from DRAGO Entertainment, premiered today during IGN Fan Fest — setting the stage for its full 1.0 release on November 19, 2025.
The trailer delivers a haunting glimpse into the misfortune that befalls protagonist Danny. Called away from his family to meet friends in a remote wilderness, their reunion turns into a nightmare after a brutal nighttime attack leaves him alone in the freezing wild as a deadly snowstorm descends.
With its exit from Early Access, Winter Survival introduces Act III, concluding Danny’s story and adding a wealth of new features. Players must scavenge, craft, and fend off wild boars, wolves, and a desperate, starving bear while preserving warmth and sanity against the bitter cold and haunting visions.
The 1.0 update brings customizable game modes, expanded areas to explore, and revamped systems for combat and fishing. The new Cold Wave mode tests endurance against endless blizzards, while Survival Mode fuses classic gameplay with psychological tension.
Winter Survival launches on PC via Steam for $18.99 USD, with console versions planned for the future.
