Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming limited series The Beast in Me, a psychological thriller starring Emmy winners Claire Danes (Homeland) and Matthew Rhys (The Americans). The eight-episode series will premiere globally on November 13, 2025, with all episodes available to stream the same day.

In The Beast in Me, Danes stars as Aggie Wiggs, an acclaimed author whose life has been shattered by the tragic death of her young son. Once a celebrated literary figure, Aggie has withdrawn from the public eye and lost her ability to write — until a new neighbor reignites her obsession with storytelling.

That neighbor is Nile Jarvis (Rhys), a powerful real estate mogul and the former prime suspect in his wife’s mysterious disappearance. As Aggie becomes both horrified and fascinated by Nile, she begins investigating his past, chasing his secrets while running from her own. What follows is a gripping and dangerous psychological cat-and-mouse game that blurs the line between truth and obsession.

Described by Netflix as “a dark, character-driven thriller about grief, guilt, and the monsters we make of each other,” The Beast in Me marks the first on-screen collaboration between Danes and Rhys — two of television’s most acclaimed dramatic actors.

The limited series will debut exclusively on Netflix on November 13, 2025.
