Set at Caledon University, where Max now works as a photography teacher, the game opens with tragedy as a devastating fire destroys the campus. Thanks to Max’s iconic Rewind power, players have three days to uncover the truth and prevent disaster.
For the first time in the series, players can control both Max and Chloe, switching perspectives to shape the story. Max’s time manipulation allows players to undo choices and solve intricate puzzles, while Chloe’s sharp Backtalk ability opens new paths through bold dialogue and risky confrontations.
