Apple TV has unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of The Last Thing He Told Me, starring and executive produced by Jennifer Garner. The new season premieres Friday, February 20, 2026, with one episode dropping weekly through April 10, 2026.

Based on Laura Dave’s instant New York Times bestselling sequel, The First Time I Saw Him, season two picks up five years after Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) disappeared. Hannah (Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) must race against time to reunite their family before the past catches up with them. Returning stars David Morse and newcomers Judy Greer and Rita Wilson join the cast, alongside Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove, Michael Galante, John Noble, Michael Hyatt, Luke Kirby, and Elizabeth O’Donnell.

Produced by 20th Television and Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, the series is created by Laura Dave and Academy Award-winning Josh Singer, with co-showrunners Singer and Aaron Zelman. Garner, Witherspoon, and Lauren Neustadter also serve as executive producers.

Ahead of the premiere, fans can revisit Dave’s thrilling novel, The First Time I Saw Him, on Apple Books to deepen their experience of Hannah Hall’s gripping journey. Catch up on season one now, streaming globally on Apple TV, before diving into the next chapter of this suspense-filled family drama.
