Moon Studios gave fans plenty to celebrate during Sony’s State of Play, unveiling a gorgeous new trailer for No Rest for the Wicked and confirming that the long-awaited 1.0 release will arrive this October on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
The dark fantasy action-RPG has already sold more than 1.8 million copies in Early Access, and the full launch promises a massive expansion of the experience. Players can expect more than 60 hours of new content, including fresh regions to explore, terrifying bosses, new weapons, a reworked class system, endgame challenges, and a brand-new horde mode.
One of the biggest additions is persistent multiplayer, allowing players to share evolving private realms with friends. Cross-play and cross-save support between PC and console will also be available at launch.
Moon Studios is also rewarding early supporters with a free Founder’s Pack for players who purchase the game on PC before July 10, 2026, or pre-order on PlayStation 5 once available. The bundle includes an exclusive hideout called Spirit Cavern, the unique Sayer’s Vow sword, a Founder tag, and access to a dedicated beta realm.
Created by the acclaimed team behind the Ori series, No Rest for the Wicked continues to blend painterly visuals, brutal soulslike combat, and rich storytelling. If the new trailer is any indication, October can’t come soon enough.
