New York City alt-rock trio King Falcon are back with another emotionally charged anthem. Their latest single, “Nothing Feels Amazing,” pairs soaring guitars and a massive chorus with a message that feels especially timely: finding hope and staying present even when life feels numb.
Following the introspective path laid out by recent release “Wait,” the new track explores the difficult process of accepting what can’t be changed. Frontman Michael Rubin describes it as the emotional shift from reacting to hardship to living with it, a feeling perfectly symbolized by the melted ice cream featured in the single’s artwork.
The accompanying video, filmed in Brooklyn’s Dumbo neighborhood and at Jane’s Carousel, cleverly contrasts joyful imagery with emotional isolation. Directed by Niko Stykos, the visual captures how everyday pleasures can lose their spark during periods of grief, heartbreak, or personal struggle.
King Falcon continue to build momentum with their signature mix of vintage rock influences, New York grit, and modern indie attitude. The band has already surpassed 1.5 million streams, earned praise from outlets including Guitar World and MXDWN, and spent the last two years honing their reputation through more than 150 live shows.
