Witchfire is getting bigger, darker, and more ambitious with the arrival of Revelations, the game’s final major update before its long-awaited 1.0 release.

Developer The Astronauts has packed this update with fresh content, including the eerie new Marshland map, a full dialogue system, localisation across 15 languages, and a major overhaul of the game’s dynamic challenge system with World Corruption 2.0.

For the first time, players can engage in branching conversations with Fallen Preyers, making choices that influence both the story and gameplay. These new narrative threads dive deeper into the tragic histories behind Witchfire’s mysterious world and lay the groundwork for the game’s full release.

Combat fans have plenty to celebrate too. Revelations introduces four powerful new weapons, from the lightning-charged Heart Eater pistol to the soul-revealing Soul Eater, alongside the devastating Tempest raygun and decay-fuelled Corpse Eater.

The update also adds the Witch Vault, the largest dungeon in the game so far, while expanding the Hermitorium with a peaceful new Garden area where players can cultivate rare crafting resources between deadly expeditions.

Created by veterans behind Painkiller, Bulletstorm, and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Witchfire continues to blend intense shooter action, roguelite progression, and souls-like difficulty into one of the most distinctive dark fantasy experiences on PC.

Witchfire is available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store, currently with a 20% discount.
