Heist thriller fans, mark your calendars. Crime 101 is making its way to 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray on June 30, with Alliance Entertainment bringing Bart Layton’s stylish crime drama home.
Set against the sun-baked backdrop of Los Angeles, Crime 101 follows an elusive jewel thief, played by Chris Hemsworth, whose daring robberies along the 101 freeway have left police chasing shadows. But when he sets his sights on the biggest score of his career, everything changes.
His carefully laid plans collide with the life of a struggling insurance broker (Halle Berry), while a determined detective (Mark Ruffalo) believes he’s finally cracked the case. As the stakes rise, the lines between hunter and hunted begin to blur, forcing every player to make choices they can’t take back.
Written and directed by Bart Layton (American Animals, The Imposter), the film adapts Don Winslow’s acclaimed novella and boasts an impressive supporting cast including Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte.
