Dotemu and Tribute Games have unveiled the first look at MARVEL Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom, an all-new premium DLC headed to PC and consoles in Fall 2026. The big bad at the center of it all? None other than the fearsome, famously egomaniacal Doctor Doom.
The DLC adds a brand-new game mode starring Doom, plus two new playable characters, expanding the tag-team arcade brawler that has already been played by more than 1.5 million players.
The original MARVEL Cosmic Invasion throws 17 heroes into a cosmic showdown against Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave, with the clever Cosmic Swap system letting players switch between characters mid-fight to combine their powers. It’s a love letter to classic Marvel comics, delivered with the fast, flashy energy of an old-school arcade cabinet.
Now, with Castle Doom on the horizon, things are about to get considerably more chaotic.
Following their work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Dotemu and Tribute Games are once again leaning into everything that makes classic brawlers so much fun: larger-than-life villains, ridiculous action and plenty of heroes to throw into the fray.
