This is the way—to your 4K Blu-ray player.

Disney’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu lands on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray today, August 25, bringing Din Djarin and his pint-sized apprentice home after their big-screen debut.

Directed by Jon Favreau and starring Pedro Pascal, the standalone adventure packs in everything fans could want: spectacular space battles, new creatures, wild new worlds, TIE-fighter mayhem, plenty of surprises, and that familiar mix of action and heart. Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White also join the galaxy-spanning fun.

The story finds the Empire gone but its warlords still causing trouble, while the fledgling New Republic turns to the legendary Mandalorian and Grogu for help. In other words, there’s another galaxy-sized mess for the duo to clean up.

At home, the 4K release gets the full premium treatment, with Dolby Vision/HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. Fans also get audio commentary from Favreau and a generous collection of behind-the-scenes extras.

Highlights include Crafting “The Mandalorian and Grogu”, a look at the puppetry, miniatures, sound and visual effects; Biomes—From Snow to Swamp; a deep dive into the making of the city of Shakari; and Dejarik for Real, which explores how the tiny holochess creatures from the original Star Wars became giant-sized for the film.

For collectors, the 4K release is also available as a SteelBook, while U.S. fans can pick up the Beskar Collector’s Edition, complete with special packaging and metal posters.

Whether you’ve followed Mando and Grogu from their Disney+ days or you’re discovering them for the first time, this looks like a home-video release built to make the galaxy feel bigger than ever.
