Paige Kizer is easing deeper into the sound of her debut with “Haze,” the second single from her forthcoming album, Unconditional. The track follows “Your Voice,” giving listeners another glimpse into an artist who has long used music as a vehicle for emotion, reflection and connection.

Kizer’s sound lives at the intersection of blues, soul and powerful storytelling. Her delivery is intimate when it needs to be and commanding when the moment calls for it, with songs that carry messages of hope without losing their edge.

That balance is at the heart of Unconditional, due Friday, Sept. 25. The album marks a significant new chapter for Kizer, whose music has found a home in both sacred and secular settings. Whether she’s leading a church service or fronting her band, Paige and the Kizers, she approaches each performance with the same mission: make music that means something.

The album release gets a proper Chicago celebration Sept. 27, when Kizer and the band take the stage at Epiphany Center for the Arts for an all-ages Sunday matinee.

With “Haze” adding another layer to the story, Unconditional is shaping up to be more than a debut—it’s a statement of purpose from an artist unafraid to put heart, soul and conviction front and center.
