Grab your compass. Age of Wonders 4 is heading out to sea.

Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios have announced Expansion Pass 4 for Age of Wonders 4, bringing a wave of new content to the award-winning fantasy strategy game. The pass is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $49.99, and includes four major additions rolling out through 2027.

First up is The Silver Seas, arriving November 3. This aquatic expansion puts the oceans at the center of your next empire-building adventure, with new cultures, creatures, magic, and plenty of opportunities to turn the high seas into your personal kingdom.

The new Mercantile culture is all about making deals—and making sure you’re the one getting the better end of them. Players can build cities on both land and sea while choosing between two very different subcultures: the information-hungry Cartel or the wealthy, power-hungry Barony.

You’ll also get two new forms: the elegant Aqualon and the ferocious Sharkkin, along with four new Tomes, aquatic wildlife, pirate settlements, new landmarks, Ancient Wonders, sea infestations, and even the ability to freeze the ocean.

And that’s just the beginning.

Available now is the Singer of Storms pack, featuring a new premade ruler, Storm Seamare mount, and additional customization options. A free Witch Update is also live, adding improvements, fixes, and a flying broom for heroes who prefer their battlefield transportation with a little more magic.

Looking ahead, Court of the Archfey arrives in Q1 2027, followed by Forge of the Firstborn in Q2. One dives into deepwood magic, glamour, illusion, and the changing seasons, while the other heads underground to explore dwarven craftsmanship, customization, and the mysteries of life and steel.

In other words, Age of Wonders 4 is about to get a whole lot bigger—and considerably wetter.

Expansion Pass 4 is available now, with The Silver Seas setting sail November 3.
