Netflix has unveiled a sneak peek at Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, the follow-up anime set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. This time, we’re getting a brand-new standalone story told across 10 episodes.
Titled “Cyberpsycho,” the new chapter promises a darker tale of redemption, revenge, and the brutal pursuit of attention in a city where violence is practically entertainment.
The big question? How far do you have to go to make your story matter when everyone is already watching?
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 returns to the sprawling, neon-soaked streets of Night City, where corporations, criminals, mercenaries, and cyber-enhanced outlaws collide. Like its predecessor, the series explores the human cost of living in a world where technology can transform your body—but can’t necessarily fix what’s happening inside your head.
This time, the story stands on its own, introducing new characters and a new chapter in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
