Capcom is bringing pure wrestling energy back to the streets. Alex, the Dark Devil himself, officially joins Street Fighter 6 on March 17 as the third character in the Year 3 roster. His arrival was revealed in a high-impact gameplay trailer that puts his brutal grappling style front and center across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
First introduced as the protagonist of Street Fighter III: New Generation in 1997, Alex returns sharper, stronger, and more dangerous than ever. Known as The Man with No Allies, he now boasts a new stance, over 10 throws, and seamless move transitions that let him dominate both in the ring and on the streets.
Alex’s updated arsenal includes crowd-crushing techniques like Flash Axe, Flash Chop, Aerial Knee Smash, and his iconic Power Bomb. His new Prowler Stance trades defense for relentless offense, offering 11 mix-up options that can chain into devastating grapples. His Super Arts bring the spectacle, from the invincible tackle of Raging Spear to the lariat-heavy Sledgecross Hammer.
A standout highlight is Omega Wing Buster, motion-captured by wrestling superstar Kenny Omega, adding authentic flair to Alex’s already explosive moveset. His Level 3 Super Art, The Final Prison, features multiple cinematic variations, including unique K.O. finishes.
Alex unlocks automatically for owners of the Year 3 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass. He joins Sagat and C. Viper, with Ingrid arriving later in Spring 2025. The streets are about to feel the slam.
