This marks a major step in Square Enix’s push to bring the legendary remake trilogy to more players worldwide, with the saga’s final chapter currently in development.
A reimagining of one of gaming’s most beloved stories, Intergrade blends cinematic storytelling, stunning visuals, and fast-paced hybrid combat. Newcomers and longtime fans alike can follow Cloud Strife and the resistance group Avalanche as they challenge the Shinra Electric Power Company—plus experience the action-packed Yuffie-focused episode, FF7R EPISODE INTERmission.
New on these platforms is the optional Streamlined Progression mode, offering unlimited HP/MP, boosted combat gauges, and easier progression—perfect for players who want to focus on story and spectacle. A free demo is also live, with save transfer to the full game.
Early digital buyers (through Jan. 31, 2026) receive the original Final Fantasy VII, while the Switch 2 physical edition includes a Magic: The Gathering—Final Fantasy Play Booster pack.
