Absolum is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 — and it’s bringing a full physical cartridge with it.

Silver Lining Interactive, together with Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, and Supamonks, has confirmed that the acclaimed roguelite brawler will launch on 17 September 2026 for Nintendo’s next-gen console. Better yet, collectors can grab a complete physical edition, with pre-orders available now via Silver Lining Direct and participating retailers.

Set in the war-torn realm of Talamh, Absolum blends classic arcade beat-’em-up action with the unpredictable progression of a modern roguelite. Players choose from four outcast heroes — Galandra, Karl, Cider, and Brome — and battle the tyrannical Sun King Azra through ever-changing runs packed with brutal combat and game-changing power-ups.

With previous physical releases selling fast, Silver Lining is already warning fans not to wait too long to secure a cartridge.

And for collectors who can’t wait until September, special editions for PS5 and Nintendo Switch are available now, packed with metal pins, an art booklet, a poster print, and character trading cards.

Bottom line: If you’ve been waiting for a standout indie action game on Switch 2, Absolum’s physical launch on 17 September just became one of the most interesting dates on the 2026 release calendar.
