Capcom fans are about to get the best of both worlds.

Aniplex has announced a limited-time collaboration between Resident Evil Survival Unit and Capcom’s legendary Monster Hunter franchise, bringing giant monster action to the mobile strategy game’s post-apocalyptic battlefield.

The crossover event kicks off on July 2, 2026, and runs through July 29, 2026, giving players a chance to take part in special event content and earn exclusive Monster Hunter-themed rewards.

First launched in 2004, Monster Hunter has become one of gaming’s most beloved action series, famous for its cooperative hunts against towering creatures across vast environments. Now, those larger-than-life monster encounters are set to collide with Resident Evil Survival Unit’s strategic gameplay.

While Aniplex is keeping specific gameplay details under wraps for now, players can expect collaboration-exclusive events and content inspired by the iconic hunting franchise. More information will be revealed through in-game announcements and official social media channels in the coming weeks.

To build anticipation, a teaser trailer has already been released, offering a first glimpse at what awaits when hunters enter the world of Resident Evil Survival Unit.

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when survival horror meets monster hunting, you’ll get your answer starting July 2.
