French electronic pioneers Air have announced the North American leg of their acclaimed 2025 Moon Safari Tour. Following a 30-date run across the EU and UK this summer, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel will bring their iconic sound stateside for 12 dates, beginning with a special performance at the Hollywood Bowl accompanied by the Bowl’s Orchestra. The duo will then tour major cities including San Diego, San Francisco, and Chicago, before wrapping up with a multi-night residency at Brooklyn Paramount in New York. Tickets go on sale May 2nd at 10 AM.
Originally released in 1998, Moon Safari sold over 3 million copies and helped define the downtempo electronic scene at the turn of the century. To mark its 25th anniversary, Air has reissued the album and played it live in full for the first time, selling out 77 shows worldwide.
The tour buzz follows a recent collaboration with British producer Vegyn, who reimagined Moon Safari as Blue Moon Safari for Record Store Day — a bold fusion of eras and styles. With their timeless sound continuing to inspire, Air’s upcoming North American tour promises to be a must-see celebration of electronic music history.
