Arknights: Endfield is expanding once again with its latest free update, Sketches of Lost Heirlooms, arriving June 5, 2026. Publisher GRYPHLINE says the update delivers new story content, playable characters, gameplay systems, and major quality-of-life improvements.
The expansion introduces Sword Vault Dale, a mysterious new region filled with ancient ruins, floating cliffs, and hidden secrets tied to the “Lost Heirlooms” storyline.
Players will also gain access to two new characters:
- Mi Fu — A fast-paced Physical Guard focused on high-damage combo attacks.
- Camille — A tactical Heat Vanguard who boosts squad rotations and combo effects.
One of the biggest additions is the debut of Contingency Contract, the fan-favorite hardcore challenge mode from the wider Arknights universe. The mode allows players to customize battlefield difficulty using special modifiers that reward strategic team-building over brute force.
The update also streamlines factory management and progression systems with features like Backup Power automation, bulk crafting, batch dismantling, improved UI navigation, and faster daily tasks.
As GRYPHLINE continues expanding Endfield’s blend of action RPG combat and industrial simulation gameplay, Sketches of Lost Heirlooms looks set to be one of the game’s biggest updates yet.
