Just in time for Halloween, the nightmare is moving to consoles. SOEDESCO and developer Senscape have announced that ASYLUM is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with both digital and physical editions available.
Following a Very Positive reception on Steam, this atmospheric psychological horror adventure invites players into the unsettling halls of Hanwell Mental Institute, where dark secrets and supernatural mysteries are waiting to be uncovered.
Inspired by Lovecraftian fiction and classic horror cinema, ASYLUM puts the emphasis on atmosphere, exploration, and slow-building tension rather than relying on constant jump scares. Players can expect roughly 10 hours of gameplay, challenging puzzles, hidden secrets, and a haunting soundtrack influenced by classic ’80s horror films and the iconic music of John Carpenter.
And there’s a little Halloween treat for console players: Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S digital editions are currently available at 20% off to celebrate the launch.
