Bella Poarch is stepping into a strange new world with “Stay Gone,” the latest single from her forthcoming debut album, PICNIC AT THE CEMETERY, due September 18.
Directed by acclaimed Tokyo-based filmmaker OSRIN, the music video unfolds like a dystopian short film. In The Mad Hive, villagers wear identical masks, carry twisted spears and follow the same programmed routine. Bella, meanwhile, wants something they’ve been taught to fear: light.
Her rebellion comes at a price. After smashing her weapon and removing her mask before the Queen, Bella is branded a traitor, stripped of “the light in her eyes” and banished into darkness.
But exile is only the beginning.
Drawing on the Japanese micro-season Kusaretaru kusa hotaru to naru—“rotten grass becomes fireflies”—OSRIN transforms Bella’s broken form from bee to firefly. What looks like punishment becomes liberation, as her body erupts into radiant fireworks.
The result is more than a music video. It’s a vivid visual fable about choosing yourself, even when the world demands conformity—and a striking new chapter in Bella Poarch’s expanding creative universe.
