Nature has a new nightmare, and it’s coming out of the Amazon. Lionsgate’s creature feature BEWARE BOIÚNA is heading to Digital on November 3, followed by a Blu-ray (+ Digital) and DVD release on December 15, 2026.
Directed by Mike P. Nelson (Silent Night, Deadly Night), the film stars Kiana Madeira (Fear Street), Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day), and Logan Marshall-Green (Upgrade).
The story follows a medical mission deep in the Amazon that quickly turns into a fight for survival when Boiúna, a colossal ancient predator, awakens to reclaim her territory. In this jungle, nature makes the rules — and humans aren’t at the top of the food chain.
For physical media collectors, the Blu-ray release comes with a nice selection of bonus features, including an audio commentary with Nelson, a behind-the-scenes look at the production, a featurette on filming in the jungle, deleted scenes, and the theatrical trailer.
