The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival (BHFF) rises again for its 10th year with a killer lineup of panels, parties, and spine-tingling events. Running October 16–25, 2025, the East Coast’s premier genre fest expands to 10 days of horror-filled celebration—all hosted at Nitehawk Cinema Williamsburg.
Beyond the blood-curdling films, fans can expect industry panels, VFX tutorials, live podcast recordings, and even a community blood drive. Many events are open to the public, while badgeholders get special VIP access.
The festivities kick off with the Opening Night Zombie Bash, presented by IFC/Shudder, featuring DJ Sara Jabarrispinning into the late hours. Friday night cranks up the chaos with DJ Nuclear Volcano at Lo-Res, Nitehawk’s bar and after-hours haunt. Expect drinks, dancing, and plenty of cinematic mayhem throughout the week.
The festival closes on Saturday, October 25, with a Halloween Party hosted by Dark Sky Films, where costumes are highly encouraged—and maybe even rewarded.
Whether you’re there for the films, the fandom, or the frightful fun, BHFF’s 10th anniversary promises to be an unmissable celebration of horror culture in the heart of Brooklyn.
