New York City alternative rock band King Falcon returns with “Wait,” a brooding yet polished single that wrestles with consequence and reflection. Built on thunderous drums and driving guitar riffs, the track captures the emotional weight of difficult decisions while pushing forward with undeniable momentum. Frontman Michael Rubin frames the song as a reckoning, exploring how mistakes shape growth even when the past cannot be undone.

The accompanying black-and-white video mirrors that tension, shifting between a raw studio performance and a vintage 1959 Corvette cruising through Los Angeles. The contrast feels both nostalgic and immediate, echoing the band’s signature blend of classic tone and modern grit.

Formed in Brooklyn in 2020, King Falcon has quickly built a reputation through relentless touring and a growing global audience. Their earlier single “Holding Out” offered a brighter outlook, earning praise for its breezy optimism and textured sound.

With more than 150 shows behind them and millions of streams, the trio continues to carve its own lane. A May 12 show at Mercury Lounge precedes a summer run across the U.S. and Canada.
