Summer may have only just started, but Capcom is already bringing blockbuster energy. During its latest Capcom Spotlight showcase, the publisher packed in fresh reveals, major updates, and new content for some of its biggest franchises.
Leading the charge, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launched its new Additional Side Story: Rudy DLC, sending players on a nostalgic adventure alongside fan-favorite Navirou. The update also introduces tougher Royal Monsters, giving veteran Rangers an even greater challenge.
Meanwhile, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen finally lifted the curtain on its ambitious expansion. Launching on October 9, 2026, the adventure heads to the frozen lands of Norgan with a brand-new story, challenging dungeons, expanded character customization, and gameplay improvements—including more save slots and six weapon skill slots in a free update arriving before launch.
Swordplay fans also got a closer look at Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which unveiled the lightning-fast Genma warrior Dohatsu-ten ahead of the game’s September release. Better yet, players don’t have to wait to get a taste of the action, with a free demo available now.
To top it all off, Resident Evil is celebrating its 30th anniversary in style. Capcom announced a special Tokyo exhibition showcasing three decades of survival horror, alongside the global Symphony of Legacy concert tour, giving fans even more ways to celebrate one of gaming’s most iconic franchises.
From monster hunting and fantasy adventures to supernatural sword fights and survival horror, Capcom’s lineup is shaping up to make the rest of 2026 one of its strongest years yet.
