Indie developer Absam Studios has unleashed a massive Hardcore Mode update for its hit survival horror game on Steam, raising the stakes with permanent death, tougher survival mechanics, and even deadlier nights.
The new mode is built for seasoned players looking for the ultimate challenge. Expect faster hunger depletion, fewer Waystones, new monsters stalking the maze, doors that slam shut at night, and a run-ending permadeath system where every decision counts. Survive it all, and you’ll unlock an exclusive new axe along with a special achievement.
To celebrate the update, Absam Studios is also hosting a solo competition with a $1,000 cash prize, giving fearless players even more reason to brave the nightmare.
