But the biggest change? More friends, more chaos, more fun. Online co-op now supports up to eight players, doubling the original Switch version’s limit. Even better, players on the original Nintendo Switch can still join eight-player sessions when the world is hosted on Switch 2, keeping the community connected across systems.
