Dave is swapping scuba gear for safari gear in his biggest adventure yet.
Mintrocket has officially launched DAVE THE DIVER: In the Jungle, a brand-new DLC expansion available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch systems. This time, Dave leaves the familiar Blue Hole behind and dives into the mysteries of a lush jungle lake packed with fresh discoveries, new faces, and unexpected dangers.
The expansion adds around 10 hours of new story content, introducing a vibrant freshwater ecosystem filled with exotic creatures, hidden secrets, and an ancient underwater civilization waiting to be uncovered. Players can also help local villagers, strengthen new relationships, and explore mysterious temples and uncharted forests.
Back on dry land, Chef Bancho is embracing the jungle lifestyle too. His new restaurant, Bancho Grill, serves up grilled freshwater specialties instead of the seafood dishes fans know and love.
To mark the release, Mintrocket has also teamed up with cult movie studio The Asylum (Sharknado, Meth Gator) to create a live-action short film inspired by the DLC’s events.
According to Game Director Jaeho Hwang, the jungle setting gave the team “so much creative room to play with,” promising plenty of surprises for returning players.
While In the Jungle is designed as a post-game adventure, newcomers can jump straight into the DLC without completing the base game first.
