Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, marking the first time FromSoftware’s acclaimed open-world RPG has arrived on a Nintendo platform. The package brings together the original Elden Ring and its celebrated expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, giving players a portable—and docked—way to tackle one of gaming’s most unforgettable adventures.
And there’s more for returning Tarnished. New content is launching across all platforms, including two new starting classes: the Heavy Knight and Idus Knight, four new armor sets, and three fresh looks for Torrent, your trusty Spectral Steed. The additions are included in Tarnished Edition and are available separately as the Tarnished Pack on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
With more than 30 million copies sold, Elden Ring hardly needs an excuse for another journey into its sprawling dark-fantasy world. But between new builds, new gear, customizable Torrent and the massive Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, there’s plenty here to lure veterans back—and give Nintendo players a brand-new reason to get lost.
