Marking the first HD-2D entry in the FINAL FANTASY series, this adventure mixes retro-inspired pixel art with modern visual flair, strategic turn-based combat and a story packed with twists, emotional moments and epic showdowns.
Players join Rain and his childhood friend Laswell on a journey featuring familiar franchise favorites, including Cloud, Tidus and the Warrior of Light. Chocobos, espers and airships also return, delivering plenty of classic FINAL FANTASY goodness.
Combat gets a strategic upgrade, too. Summon Visions of iconic characters, exploit enemy weaknesses, stagger foes and unleash cinematic Resonance attacks. And when the main story wraps up, optional bosses, monster-filled Colosseum battles and legendary weapons offer plenty more challenges.
Originally based on the opening story arc of FINAL FANTASY Brave Exvius, RESONANCE has been extensively rebuilt into a full-fledged RPG experience.
