Sharpen your sword and rally your allies—Gloria Victis is back.
Publisher gamigo has officially relaunched the beloved medieval MMORPG, bringing the large-scale PvP siege experience back to players as a free-to-play title. After first announcing the revival in February 2026 and following a successful closed beta in May, the battle-scarred world of Gloria Victis is once again open for conquest.
Originally online for more than a decade and once recognized as a Steam “Top Game,” Gloria Victis returns with its signature blend of realistic, action-based combat, territory warfare, and player-driven economics. Players can storm castles, capture strategic locations, craft valuable goods, and engage in high-stakes battles where skill—not character level—often decides the outcome.
Veteran players have another reason to celebrate: those who owned premium skins before the licensing transition will be able to recover their previous purchases.
The relaunch is only the beginning. The development team is already working on future improvements, including the highly anticipated State of War update, a guild-focused siege system that will let players attack and defend custom-built castles on dedicated Guild Islands.
For newcomers and returning warriors alike, Gloria Victis offers a dynamic medieval sandbox where traders, crafters, explorers, and battlefield commanders can all forge their own path.
The kingdom awaits. The war has begun.
