Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is bringing Anaconda (2025) back to the jungle in style, announcing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray editions arriving March 17.
Directed by Tom Gormican, this new take blends creature-feature thrills with full-on comedy. Lifelong best friends Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) finally act on their childhood dream: remaking their beloved “classic,” Anaconda. Armed with nostalgia and a midlife-crisis budget, they trek into the Amazon to shoot their passion project. Predictably, chaos follows — but the joke turns deadly when a real giant anaconda crashes the set. The movie they’re desperate to make may be the last thing they ever do.
The physical releases come packed with premium tech and extras. Expect a Dolby Vision HDR presentation and a Dolby Atmos audio track. Bonus features include gag reels in Hiss-terical Outtakes & Bloopers, deleted and extended scenes, and featurettes like A Ride Into Chaos with Jack & Paul, Friends in the Wild: The Cast, The Snake Charmer: Tom Gormican, and Reinventing the Legend: Anaconda.
