Brooklyn indie rockers Momma continue their victory lap following the success of their acclaimed fourth album Welcome to My Blue Sky (Polyvinyl Record Co. / Lucky Number Music). Today, the band unveiled a sprawling new video for the album’s title track—directed by guitarist and vocalist Allegra Weingarten—and announced an expanded fall tour. The new leg features 11 headlining dates, culminating in their biggest NYC show yet at Brooklyn Steel on November 20th. Tickets go on sale April 25th at 10am local time.

The video was filmed in Yerington, Nevada, a place close to the band’s heart. “It’s a small town most people wouldn’t know, but it’s full of heart. It was the perfect place for a song about the road and finding hidden gems across middle America,” Momma shared.

The band’s spring tour kicks off tonight in Louisville, KY, and includes multiple sold-out shows, like their May 31st date at Warsaw in Brooklyn. Festival appearances at Kilby Block Party, Primavera Sound, and Outbreak Festival are also on the horizon.

Welcome to My Blue Sky, recorded live at Brooklyn’s Studio G and produced by Momma’s Aron Kobayashi Ritch, marks a bold evolution for the band. With taut pop hooks layered over raw rock energy, the album finds the group refining their songwriting while staying emotionally potent. “We focused on clean, good songwriting—something people can sing along to and really feel,” Weingarten explains.

Autobiographical and deeply resonant, Welcome to My Blue Sky captures the highs and upheavals of life on tour, solidifying Momma as one of today’s most distinct voices in indie rock.
