Minneapolis rockers Porch Light are turning up the intensity with a new official music video for “Paranoia,” one of the breakout tracks from their debut album, Hush. And judging by the numbers, fans can’t get enough.
The song has taken off online, pulling in more than 3.5 million TikTok views and 2 million streaming plays in less than three weeks. That momentum has helped push the band’s social following higher and sent their upcoming North American headlining tour toward a near sellout.
Directed by Jack Alex Cohen, the new video leans into full-on psychological horror. Haunting shadows, hidden silhouettes, broken glass, and blaring alarms surround the band as the song builds toward its explosive finale. It’s a fitting visual for a track fueled by racing thoughts and mounting paranoia, while also capturing the raw energy that’s made Porch Light a rising live attraction.
Recorded at the legendary Pachyderm Studios with producer Caleb Wright (Samia, Hippo Campus), Hush showcases a band finding its sound through two years of touring. The album moves between riff-heavy rock anthems and more stripped-back moments, all driven by vocalist Jackie Uhas’s distinctive, unfiltered delivery.
After appearances at Lollapalooza, Summerfest, and Shaky Knees Festival, Porch Light are continuing their momentum with their first North American headline tour. With sold-out performances already behind them and more on the horizon, this is a band worth keeping an eye on.
