The adventure is getting bigger in RuneScape.
Jagex has released Havenhythe Part II, the largest-ever area expansion in the MMORPG’s 25-year history. The members-only update adds four new areas, fresh skilling activities, dangerous new enemies, and a climactic showdown against the growing Sanguine threat.
Players who have completed Secrets of Amberfell can jump into the new storyline, provided they’ve also met the required skill levels, including 51 Crafting, 55 Herblore, 65 Mining, and 60 Smithing.
There’s plenty to do beyond the main quest, too. New mining content, training methods, local rewards, and resources give questers, fighters, and dedicated skillers plenty of reasons to explore Havenhythe.
The biggest prize? An ultra-rare, best-in-slot hatchet. Players can also collect Bogolin Pearls, Chima Moss Spools, a Bogolin Knife and Torch, and new sources of standard rune essence.
And then there’s the Bangolin quest, a whimsical standalone adventure that adds a little levity to an otherwise dangerous trip.
With new areas to explore, skills to train, monsters to fight, and the Havenhythe story reaching its dramatic conclusion, Part II gives RuneScape players plenty of new territory to tackle.
Havenhythe Part II is available now for members on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android, with cross-platform progression and play.
