Geralt is back—and this time, the Wild Hunt looks better than ever.
More than a decade after its original release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is now available, giving CD PROJEKT RED’s acclaimed RPG a substantial modern makeover.
The best part? If you already own The Witcher 3, the Remastered version is a free upgrade on supported platforms.
The update touches nearly every corner of Geralt’s adventure. Players can expect improved visuals and performance, enhanced lighting and ray tracing, revamped combat, a reworked skill system, smoother animations, an updated interface, and cross-platform mod support.
PC players get an especially impressive visual upgrade with Path Tracing, while PS5 Pro receives dedicated support, including PSSR and higher frame-rate options.
There’s also plenty for Nintendo fans. The native Nintendo Switch 2 version adds motion controls, gyro aiming, mouse controls, and touchscreen support—including touch controls for playing Gwent.
And if you’ve somehow never ventured into the Continent, this is a pretty substantial package. The Remastered edition includes both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, giving new players the complete Witcher 3 experience.
The upgrade is available for existing owners on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the Switch 2 version available as a free upgrade for owners of the original Switch version. The game is also available for purchase on Battle.net and the Microsoft Store as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
With more than 65 million copies sold and over 250 Game of the Year awards, The Witcher 3 already had a pretty impressive legacy.
Now Geralt gets another ride.
And with the upcoming 2027 expansion, Songs of the Past on the horizon, the timing couldn’t be better to return to the Continent—or finally discover it for the first time.
