20th Century Studios is bringing Sam Raimi’s darkly comedic psychological thriller Send Help (2025) to home audiences with a deluxe 4K Blu-ray combo pack, arriving April 21. The film stars Rachel McAdams, Dylan O’Brien, Dennis Haysbert, Chris Pang, and Emma Raimi.
Send Help follows two business colleagues stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash. As the only survivors, they must confront past grievances while navigating an escalating, wryly humorous battle of survival. Raimi describes the film as a “darkly comedic reversal of power,” exploring what happens when office hierarchies are turned upside down in the wild.
Critics have praised the film for its tense, unpredictable humor, earning a 93% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes®. Jeannette Catsoulis of The New York Times called it “a symphony of unexpected, increasingly violent power shifts,” while The Boston Globe hailed it as Raimi’s return to “gory mischief.”

The 4K release enhances the experience with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio, plus over two hours of bonus content. Highlights include audio commentary from Raimi and producer Zainab Azizi, behind-the-scenes featurettes on the boar hunt, survival training, and character transformations, as well as extended, deleted, and storyboarded scenes. Composer Danny Elfman also shares insights into the score that amplifies the film’s tension and dark humor.
For fans of high-stakes comedy and psychological thrillers, Send Help on 4K Blu-ray promises both thrills and laughs—and a deep dive into Raimi’s uniquely twisted cinematic vision.
