Electronic Arts has revealed that Star Wars Zero Company, a new single-player turn-based tactics game from Bit Reactor and Lucasfilm Games, launches on August 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are available now.

A newly released gameplay trailer showcases the game’s cinematic take on tactical combat, blending squad-based strategy with an original Star Wars story set in the shadows of the Clone Wars. Players take command of Hawks, a former Republic officer leading Zero Company — a ragtag team of specialists that includes a Clone Trooper, Mandalorian warrior, Jedi Padawan, and more.

Their mission? Track down and stop Kundri Fathom, leader of the mysterious Separatist-aligned cult known as the Infinite Coil.

Beyond the battlefield, players will recruit and customize Operators, build relationships between squad members, upgrade their base of operations known as The Den, and choose missions across a galaxy-spanning map featuring more than 150 planets. Character customization is a major focus, with eight playable Star Wars species and extensive options for appearances, talents, and combat roles.

According to developer Bit Reactor, the goal is to combine deep tactical gameplay with the cinematic storytelling Star Wars fans expect. Lucasfilm Games says the title offers a fresh perspective on the Clone Wars, exploring the conflict from corners of the galaxy rarely seen before.

Star Wars Zero Company launches in Standard and Deluxe Editions, with pre-order bonuses including the Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack and exclusive Clone Wars-inspired cosmetic content for Deluxe Edition owners.

For Star Wars fans looking for a new kind of battlefield, August 27 is shaping up to be a date worth marking on the holotable.
