Philadelphia/New Jersey emo outfit Sweet Pill has unveiled their moody new single “Glow,” the second taste from their upcoming sophomore album Still There’s A Glow, out March 13 via Hopeless Records. The track arrives with a Johnny Komar-directed video, following the lead single “No Control,” which earned praise from Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show, Stereogum, Alternative Press, Brooklyn Vegan, and more.

“‘Glow’ is about living my life with my eyes closed,” explains singer Zayna Youssef. “I perceive through a hazy lens constantly fogged by a glow…maybe I want to keep my eyes closed for a little longer.” The song captures a dreamy, reflective state, balancing self-denial with introspection.

Written and recorded after scrapping nearly an entire album’s worth of demos, Still There’s A Glow documents Sweet Pill’s three-year journey of growth and self-reflection. Half the album predates Youssef’s personal turning point entering therapy and approaching 30, while the rest emerges from renewed clarity, blending raw honesty with moments of hope.

The band—Youssef, guitarists Jayce Williams and Sean McCall, bassist Ryan Cullen, and drummer Chris Kearney—captured the energy of their live shows, honing individual parts to craft a dynamic, cathartic album. Their U.S. and Canada tour kicks off March 13 in Pittsburgh, hitting Philadelphia’s Union Transfer on March 19, Brooklyn’s Warsaw on March 20, and LA’s El Rey Theatre on April 2.

Still There’s A Glow is Sweet Pill at their most honest: fiery, reflective, and glowing with resilience.
