The Rolling Stones are turning back the clock while pushing rock music into the future with the release of the new video for “In The Stars,” the lead single from their upcoming album Foreign Tongues. Directed by Francois Rousselet, the visually ambitious clip uses groundbreaking deepfake technology from Deep Voodoo to recreate the band’s iconic 1970s era performances alongside musicians, dancers, and singers representing multiple generations and cultures.
The video also stars Odessa A’zion, who called the collaboration a dream come true. A lifelong fan of the band, A’zion revealed that Tattoo You was the first record she ever listened to from start to finish, making her appearance in the project especially meaningful.
Foreign Tongues arrives July 10 through Capitol Records and follows the massive success of Hackney Diamonds, the Grammy-winning album that topped charts worldwide. The 14-track release was recorded in under a month at Metropolis Studios in West London and reunites Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood with producer Andrew Watt.
