Heavy metal meets survival horror in one of the year’s most unexpected — and undeniably cool — crossover events.

Japanese metal sensation BABYMETAL has officially joined forces with Capcom’s legendary Resident Evil franchise for a limited-edition merchandise collaboration celebrating Resident Evil’s 30th anniversary. And yes, the pre-orders are live right now.

The collection blends BABYMETAL’s signature high-energy aesthetic with the eerie, iconic world of Resident Evil, delivering a lineup that feels tailor-made for fans who like their fashion loud, dark, and collectible.

Available through the BABYMETAL Official Online Store, the collaboration features five exclusive items:

  • The Ladies Tee
  • The Dolls Tee
  • Metal Outbreak Zip-Up Hoodie
  • The Ladies Acrylic Stand
  • The Dolls Acrylic Keychain

What gives the collection even more credibility is the creative talent behind it. The artwork comes from Capcom collaborators illustrator Hinanana and graphic designer GOTO, both known for their work across major Capcom properties, including Resident Evil anniversary art and the Street Fighter franchise.

The timing couldn’t be bigger for Resident Evil, either. The horror powerhouse officially hit its 30th anniversary milestone this year, and the franchise continues to dominate gaming culture decades after its debut. Capcom says the series has now sold more than 201 million units worldwide, while the newest entry, Resident Evil Requiem, has already become the fastest-selling Resident Evil game in series history.

Pre-orders for the collaboration merch are open now and run through Friday, June 26 at 11:59 PM, giving fans a limited window to secure the drop before it disappears into the horror vault.

Capcom also teased that more Resident Evil 30th anniversary announcements are still on the way, meaning this crossover may only be the beginning of a much larger celebration year for the franchise.
