The week kicks off on August 31 with Kaiju No. 8 The Game (PC, mobile). Based on the hit manga and anime, it delivers explosive city-smashing battles where players face off against towering monsters in cinematic encounters.

Recent late-August releases are still making waves too, with heavy-hitters like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater(Aug. 28), Lost Soul Aside (Aug. 29), and Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (Aug. 29) offering everything from Cold War stealth to fast-paced action and tactical ninja combat.

September brings fresh experiences quickly. On September 3, Hirogami (PC, PS5) launches with strategic gameplay rooted in mythological themes. A day later, September 4 delivers two standout titles: Hell Is Us (PC, PS5, Xbox), a dark narrative action-adventure filled with tension and mystery, and Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion (Switch 2), which doubles down on tactical mech battles with vibrant futuristic flair.

The week rounds out on September 5 with two diverse offerings. Terminator 2D: No Fate reimagines the iconic franchise in classic side-scrolling action, while Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots (PC, PS5, Switch) returns as a lighthearted sports favorite with refined mechanics and multiplayer fun.

Looking beyond this week, September holds even more in store: Borderlands 4 (Sept. 12), The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (Sept. 19), and Marathon (Sept. 23).

With kaiju clashes, mech skirmishes, and story-rich adventures, this week’s lineup sets the stage for a thrilling month of gaming.
