In a stroke of creative synergy, Oren Ambarchi, Johan Berthling, and Andreas Werliin reconvened at Stockholm’s Studio Rymden, where they birthed the mesmerizing improvisations that became their debut album, Ghosted, in 2022. Now, two years later, Drag City is thrilled to announce the release of Ghosted II, slated for April 26, 2024.
Building upon their foundation of live performance as a trio, Ghosted II promises to be a riveting sequel, blending propulsive grooves with introspective meditations. Returning to Studio Rymden for more sonic exploration, the trio collaborates once again with artist Pål Dybwik for captivating cover art, while maintaining the hallmark tension and atmospheric depth that marked their first collaboration.
