NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is officially four years old, and NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment are kicking off the celebrations in style. During the Naraka Fest Direct 2025, producer Ray Kuan revealed major updates coming to the acclaimed martial arts battle royale, including a thrilling new mode, a high-voltage hero, exclusive cosmetics, and returning collaborations.
Launching with Season 17’s Fission Season on July 8th, Rift Traversal introduces a fast-paced extraction-style mode. Players will explore Holoroth in search of treasure, battling foes or avoiding them using newly added tools like the Mole Hook. The end goal? Escape with your loot at the Aegis Tree. This mode adds high-level weapon forging with unique effects, raising the intensity of combat. Outside the arena, a fresh cultivation system will debut, offering crafting, trading, and personalized collection rooms.
The latest hero joining the roster is Inor Wan, a speed-focused warrior who can transform into lightning. Seen zipping through timelines in the anniversary trailer, Inor brings unmatched mobility and electrifying blade attacks. His battlefield agility makes him a powerful force in the ever-evolving world of Naraka.
Season 17 introduces exquisite cosmetics, including the dual-form extreme outfit for Yoto Hime, Doll Dream, and a stunning Tai Chi-inspired Katana skin, Blade Mystique. The “Reversal Flows” cosmetic series will also begin rolling out this season.
To thank the community, players can claim the EXTREME Greatsword skin Dragon Epoch just by logging in. Plus, six legendary outfits are being given away throughout the season. Fan-favorite collaborations are also returning: the NieRcrossover makes a comeback, and the legendary Bruce Lee event returns on July 9th with new Akos Hu and Lannie outfits.
Available now for free on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT’s Fission Season promises a packed celebration with more surprises to come. Whether you’re a returning warrior or new to the arena, now is the perfect time to join the fight.
