BlackMill Games, the studio renowned for its historically authentic WW1 Game Series, has announced its newest title: Gallipoli. Coming soon to PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Epic Games), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, the game transports players to the dramatic Middle Eastern campaigns of World War I.
From the windswept beaches of the Dardanelles to the scorching deserts of Mesopotamia, Gallipoli promises the series’ most immersive experience yet. Players can storm beaches, fight through ruined cities, or endure sandstorms while clashing as either British Empire or Ottoman forces.
“With Gallipoli, we’re highlighting a front that’s often overlooked, despite its importance,” said Jos Hoebe, founder of BlackMill Games. “This entry allows us to go deeper, offering an authentic and complete portrayal in line with the series’ vision.”

A New Front in the Great War
Gallipoli shifts the battlefield from Europe’s trenches to the varied terrain of the Middle East. Inspired by the historic Gallipoli and Mesopotamia campaigns, players will face expeditionary warfare at its most diverse.
Key features include:
- Authentic WW1 battles: Historically accurate maps, weapons, music, and uniforms for both British and Ottoman soldiers.
- Varied Middle Eastern settings: Fight across coastal dunes, deserts, and urban strongholds.
- Realistic combat: Master period weaponry, survive suppressive fire, and push through dust-filled clashes.
- Squad-based multiplayer: Join specialized roles within squads and engage in crossplay across PC and consoles.
- Never fight alone: AI soldiers bolster both public and custom matches.
More Than a Battle—A Campaign
As the fourth standalone title in the series—following Verdun, Tannenberg, and Isonzo—Gallipoli expands the scope of WW1 storytelling. This chapter highlights the harsh conditions, strategic ambitions, and human struggles of a front too often overshadowed in gaming and history alike.
Players eager to enlist can add Gallipoli to their wishlist now on Steam, PlayStation, and the Epic Games Store.
