Put the kettle on and warm up those chants — Ted Lasso is officially heading back to the pitch. Apple TV+ has confirmed that the Emmy-sweeping global favorite returns in summer 2026, with Jason Sudeikis back in the mustache and leading the charge both on screen and behind the scenes.

Season four finds Ted returning to Richmond for his boldest play yet: coaching a second-division women’s football team. Expect big risks, bigger heart, and the kind of leap-before-you-look optimism that turned this show into a cultural phenomenon.

Fan favorites Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift are all back, joined by newcomers Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.

Behind the camera, the lineup is just as stacked. Emmy winner Jack Burditt joins as executive producer, alongside returning creative forces including Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, and Bill Lawrence. Goldstein continues to write and produce, with a deep bench of new and returning writers rounding out the squad.

After record-breaking premieres and back-to-back Outstanding Comedy Series Emmys, Ted Lasso isn’t just returning — it’s aiming for a whole new goal.
