The Wild West has never looked quite like this. Publisher 4Divinity and developer Eschatology Entertainment have unveiled the first extended gameplay footage for Guns of Eschaton, offering a first look at its brutal blend of gunslinging action, Soulslike combat, and occult horror.

The new footage follows the mysterious Gunslinger with No Name and their co-op companion as they journey across a ruined, reimagined nineteenth-century America — battling everything from fanatical cultists to the mysterious alchemist known as Widow.

Armed with a Smith & Wesson revolver dedicated to a fallen friend, specialized ammunition, powerful prayers, and the knowledge-packed Codex, the Gunslinger must approach every encounter with care. In Guns of Eschaton, every shot matters, every enemy has a weakness, and survival depends on preparation as much as precision.

The latest gameplay showcase culminates in a showdown with Widow, the leader of V.I.T.R.I.O.L. Co., one of seven factions fighting for control of this strange new world. A visionary alchemist consumed by the dream of creating the Magnum Opus, Widow rules over a twisted dystopia where humanity and machinery are fused together in pursuit of perfection.

Created as the final original world from legendary art director Viktor Antonov — known for his work on Half-Life 2 and DishonoredGuns of Eschaton transforms the American frontier into a haunting landscape filled with occult mysteries, deadly enemies, and forgotten powers.

Players will be able to shape their own legendary gunslinger with a wide range of weapons, ammunition types, talismans, armor, consumables, and supernatural abilities. Whether facing the apocalypse alone or joining forces with allies in co-op, every journey through this unforgiving West will demand strategy, skill, and a steady hand.

With its mix of frontier grit, dark fantasy, and methodical combat, Guns of Eschaton is aiming to deliver a fresh take on the apocalypse — one revolver shot at a time.
